The Parliament: UPLB Debate Society is the official debate organization of the University of the Philippines Los Baños. It remains to be one of the country's most awarded debate organizations, being the only Luzon institution outside NCR that has reached the final 8 of of the two official national debate tournaments namely, the National Debate Championship and the Philippine Inter-Collegiate Debating Championship.
Since its official recognition in 2003, The Parliament has been continuously pursuing excellence as the only duly recognized debate organization in UPLB, attaining exemplary accomplishments in debate tournaments inside and outside the country.
As an active socio-civic organization, The Parliament has organized many activities inside and outside the university that promote debating in educational institutions. It has organized debate tournaments like the UP Intervarsity League (UP IV), the renowned debate tournament among UP campuses, Luzon Intervarsity (LIV), one of the largest intervarsity debate tournaments in the country, and South Luzon Debate Encounter (SLIDE UP), the largest high school debate tournament in South Luzon.
